It's not about wanting less. It's about knowing what you're not willing to trade for it. Your time, your weekends, a job you hate.
I like writing about all of it: DIY, money, gardens, and building a life you don't need a bigger paycheck to afford.
I wrote my obituary as a reality check (not because I was dying).
The paycheck didn't justify compromising my morals. I was burned out, hated my career, and knew something had to change. So I left.
I don't have all the answers and I'm deeply suspicious of anyone who does. I'm not here to be your guru (I can’t even watch cult documentaries). But if you're tired of the life you thought you wanted, maybe there's something here that helps.
