Thoughtful Gifts for Everyone
Let’s be real—consumerism can feel a little soulless sometimes, yet it is nice to show people we care. Both things can be true!
The trick is in the details: if you’re just grabbing random gifts to check boxes, they’re likely to end up collecting dust or being donated by March. That’s not accomplishing anything, and it’s not really fair to you or the people you care about!
So, here’s our advice: be thoughtful about your gifts and maybe consider trimming your list down to just the people who truly matter. If you can’t think of something meaningful for someone, they might be better served by a shared experience, like catching up over coffee, rather than a gift.
Gifts for Homebodies: Outside Is Overrated
It’s me hi, I’m the introvert its me. For the homebody friend who lives for cozy nights in—no people, no problem.
If you're a man reading this, well done! And if you're a woman, don't let anyone tell you you're "just naturally better at gift-giving."
The truth? Gift-giving has traditionally been seen as a woman's responsibility, and we excel at it because we pay attention. We notice the little things—what our kids are into, what family members are dealing with, and what might bring a smile to someone’s face. Women are often the ones who keep tabs on the details, stay organized, and make the effort to stay connected.
It's not a talent, it’s dedication to those we love.
