Now that I have been able to keep a few plants alive, I cannot get enough. I’m sure it has a lot to do with finding plants that are pretty hard to murder, and moving to a climate that succulents thrive in. I’ll take it either way.
I don’t typically like a lot of things on shelves that don’t serve a purpose, it just seems like a lot of extra crap to have to dust, and pack if you move. Plants have become my exception because it turns out that I really enjoy them, they actually seem to make me less stressed but I don’t even know how to quantify that.
They improve air quality by lowering carbon dioxide levels and increase humidity which is great in the winter. They are also great at lowering background noise from busy streets (soooo fill that window ledge with plants).
